About the scene; i think he must have some more anger and revenge in his face. The book describes even his eyes were shining because of what he became after all those he had lost at The Sudden Flame..
Actually I did try putting some radiance into his eyes, however, it turned out funny...
So I decided to simply go for the 'gleamed as a star' description...
I see you've worked on most of the famous Noldor kings in your gallery.
But what about me? Won't you draw something for father of all Noldor?
Do you mean "Chapter 10" with "HoMe 10"? I couldn't find anything about Finwe in Chapter 10.
I will read them ASAP.
I've always imagined Finwe as glorious as other first kings, even if there's not much about him in Silmarillion.
And the lost of Miriel always makes me sad. I hope those things you mentioned are not really big deal, and i hope i won't loose my respect for Finwe. =/
